About me

My love for music existed from an early age. Singing in a children’s choir and playing the piano gave me great pleasure and inspiration. I have evolved into a conductor through my love for symphonic music and opera, as well as my desire to make music together with other people.

The conductor Yiorgo Moutsiaras managed to keep the essence of the music at a high level. He stuck to the detail but also followed the general line and knew how to make the musicians’ feeling for this beautiful music emerge.

Mr. Moutsiaras as conductor. He has shown very sincere, convincing musicianship and ideal conducting hand. I am sure Mr. Moutsiaras has the best possibilities to become a first class conductor.”

and his joyous ways of going about his conducting truly set him apart. he was a candidate at the Vakhtang Jordania Conducting Competition in 2006 (I was Principal Second Violin of the competition orchestra). Yiorgo was a very passionate conductor. It was immediately obvious that the music came straight from his soul. Also, it’s no surprise that he was voted orchestra favorite! I hope to work with Yiorgo again someday.”

talented and hard-working person! His attitude and personality declares that he is to be trusted on any musical matter not only due to his sensitive and accurate way of dealing with interpretation but because he has proved to be reliable and punctual in any obligation he has undertaken!”
